  The Sundarbans is the largest mangrove forest in le world covering an area of about 10.000 square kilometre shared by India and Bangladesh. Because of its' biodiversity it has been recorded as a UNESCO's 52nd World Heritage site. The name Sundarans is taken from a tree name 'Sundari which is abundant in the Sundarbans. This forest provides habitat for different wildlife including birds, fishes, mammals, reptiles and amphibians. It is mostly famous for the Royal Bengal Tiger.
